Join us at Sister Divine's farm for a hands-on workshop taught by local mushroom maven Nelson (Rusty) Graham who will teach us how to cultivate Shiitake, Hen of the Woods, Oyster Shelf, Lions Mane and Wine Caps using inoculation techniques.
Mushrooms are (rightly so) rising into a more popular eye as we discover more and more about the fantastic world of fungi. They are one of the most diverse organisms on Earth and contribute to many aspects of life as we know it. They’re the most populous kingdom on the planet – an estimated 3.8 million fungi exist worldwide – and still, more than 90% of them are currently unknown to science.
Everyone who comes has the opportunity to leave with their own inoculated log (additional $20 fee would apply).
